When you sign up to our website we collect your name and email. Your details are stored in a secure database on our site. We also use Active Campaign to send news and other emails: you can read their privacy policy here. Your details are used to enable you to sign in to see member only content and update your information. We also use these details to send you news and information (if you accept this option). We never share your details with third parties, sell your information or process your details for marketing in any other way.

Browsing

If you simply wish to browse our website, no personal data is directly collected by us. Cookies are used to check if you have accepted our cookie and privacy policies and to enable services such as maps.

With all cookies on this site personal information is not contained in the cookies, however, it may be possible to use the information in combination with other data to build a personal profile. Read our cookie policy here. This is why we secure our site to prevent malicious access.

Social Sharing

If you use the social sharing buttons on our blog, some information will be collected by the social platform and their cookies will remain on our website. We use encryption on our website to help prevent access to these cookies.

Newsletters

If you sign up to our newsletter or other membership benefits, your information is passed to Active Campaign – which we use to send our emails. Your information is also stored on our website. You can view Active Campaign’s privacy policy here.

  • We do not use your information for any other purpose than to contact you and maintain your memberships with Mumazing.
  • You may opt out of all memberships and emails at any time using links in our emails, or by contacting us direct.

Contact Forms

When you submit information through the contact form it is sent directly to us. This email is only accessed by us. No data is stored on this website or in any intermediary database or software platform.
After responding to the email and resolving the enquiry, the email will be deleted. You are not added to any list or marketing campaign and your data is not retained unless this is explicitly requested by yourself.

How we keep your information secure

Our website uses encryption so that cookies and information entered on forms is secure. This is through an SSL certificate. You can see that our site is secure through your web browser, which will have a padlock or a green ‘SECURE’ message, and will show HTTPS at the beginning of our website address.

  • Admin account holders for our website must use strong passwords so that their accounts are secure.
  • Our Active Campaign account uses a strong password to keep it secure.
  • Your data is never stored by or shared with anyone except where detailed in ‘Who Can See This Information’ above.
  • You are entitled to view, amend, or have deleted the personal information that we hold. To do so contact us using the details below.

We do not share your information with or sell it to third parties.

Mike Smith is our website developer through Digital Smithy. He provides website, security and social media support to us. As the developer of our site he has access to all data on the site. As host of our website, Digital Smithy acts as a “data sub-processor”. This is a term used by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations). This means that Digital Smithy provides our hosting, the space where our website and email are stored, and therefore has access to them. Upon contracting Digital Smithy to host our website, both parties signed an agreement stating that Digital Smithy will not access or act upon any data relating to Mumazing Success without our explicit consent. We have ensured that Digital Smithy abides by the GDPR and treats all our data and that of website users, members and email contacts in strict confidence.
