KENT MUMAZING GROUP WITH EMILY PAVEY
I created the Mumazing Groups as I felt there is a huge amount of Personal Development out there and lots of Women's Groups but none specific to Mums. - Lucy Flanagan Creator of Mumazing Success
Emily Pavey - Kent Mumazing Group
I live in Marden in the heart of Kent with my husband, our two boys, aged 7 and 10 and our dog.
Following a degree in Politics and Theatre Studies I started work as a temp at the BBC working in the brand Digital Media Department. It was a while ago! I went on to work in various editorial roles and then many years later I left my job as a Development Producer following the birth of our first son, Oscar.
Arthur came along a couple of years later and from him I learned all about the tough parts of being a Mum. He suffered severe reflux and so it wasn’t until several years later that I finally got more than a couple of hours sleep in a row. Thankfully he’s a total charmer and so all is forgiven!
I absolutely love being a mum but we all know how tough it can be at times. Sometimes I’ve wondered how anything could be simultaneously so wonderful and so draining?! I believe in being honest about the ups and downs and am lucky enough to have many friends who feel the same too. Parenting is such a complex experience and balancing this with work can be a tricky business.
I look forward to welcoming you to the group - Em x
"I believe we need to be in support of each other and our different choices; every family is different. Sometimes it is a seemingly simple strategy that makes everything flow smoothly once again."
THIS IS WHAT MUMAZING MEMBERS HAVE TO SAY...
Before I joined Mumazing, I had frequent feelings of overwhelm and guilt. I worried about funding my membership but have found it to be worth every penny. I really enjoy our meeting the other fab members and the motivation and accountability. I feel each month is priceless. I can honestly say that Lucy is one of the most grounded, honest and real people I've met, and she really cares - Natalie, Mumazing Member.
"Taking the time away from the office/working day was definitely worthwhile. If you want to work on pushing yourself and your business forward give Lucy a call/get in touch with Lucy." - Lisa
“I have a very hectic and demanding role in my job as a Regional Manager. With Lucy’s advice, I have created much more “life – work” balance in my life. I am very grateful for the advice Lucy has given me. By making some small changes, these have led onto bigger changes. By setting clear goals, creating an action plan and then supporting me and encouraging me along the path, I have achieved much more than I anticipated. Lucy has a very pragmatic, positive and proactive approach to encouraging positive change. I liked the way that she is very kind, but also has a keen eye for focus on any issues. I would describe Lucy as having a “holisitic” approach, she works closely with all aspects of life, in order to create clear goals for the future. I thoroughly recommend Lucy – as she has a gift for inspiring others! - Rhiannon
